 Who is The Tangerine for?
The Tangerine is targeted at young professionals in their 20s and 30s. It does not matter if you are married or single. |
Where are the events and activities held?
Most of the events and activities will be based in Edinburgh, although due to the nature of some events, travel out of Edinburgh may occasionally be necessary. |
How do I join?
Applications for membership must be completed online. A paperless office is the way forward! Without obligation, you can come along to two events prior to becoming a member. |
How much is membership and how do I pay?
Membership currently costs £15 per quarter. If you would like an annual membership, the cost is £55 per annum.
Payment for membership can be made online or can be paid by cash or cheque made payable to "The Tangerine". |

How do I pay for events?
Payments should be made via PayPal on the Event Calendar. There will be a surcharge for those choosing to pay cash at the event. Card payments are accepted online only. |
How much do the events cost?
It depends on the event, prices start from £5 and will always be good value. |
Is there a limit to the number of events I can attend?
No, not at all. You can come to as many or as few as you wish. |
How many events will there be per month?
There will normally be around 8 - 10 per month to choose from. |
Can I bring a guest?
Yes, but the same guest can only attend events twice per quarter. |
Is it o.k. to attend events on my own?
Yes, the whole idea is to meet new friends, join in and have fun. |
Do I have to take part in all the different types of events?
Certainly not. You can pick and choose whatever suits you. But we do suggest that you experiment and try things you have not tried before. |
Can I book events late?
Yes, provided they are not sold out. The nature of most events should make this unlikely. |
What if I need to cancel? Will there be a charge?
This may depend on the provider of the event facility. We shall be sympathetic wherever possible. |
Do I need any special equipment?
No, special equipment will be provided by the event supplier if it is required. Some sports activities will require you to bring your own sports footwear and attire. |
